About this Grant
This fund is designed to support journalists who wish to undertake deep-dive investigative projects that go beyond daily reporting. We are looking for stories that hold power to account, expose wrongdoing, and shine a light on systemic issues affecting Tanzanian citizens.
This initiative is part of our broader strategy to strengthen investigative capacity in East Africa. Successful applicants will not only receive funding but also mentorship from senior editors.
Who Can Apply?
Must be a Tanzanian journalist (freelance or employed).
Must have at least 3 years of reporting experience.
Must provide a letter of support from an editor/media house.
